Sierra Nevada
“Sol Caribe Excelso”

Where the jungle meets the sea

The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Coffee grown here thrives between mountain mists and Caribbean breezes — a harmony of tropical fruit and mountain strength.

Yulián Mendoza

Yulián Mendoza cultivates Sol Caribe in the foothills overlooking the ocean. His family works with an Indigenous Arhuaco community to preserve traditional methods — organic compost, shade trees, and hand pulping. “We grow coffee like our ancestors,” he says, “with respect and rhythm.”
