High in the green folds of San Agustín, Huila breathes coffee. Volcanic soil and steady rain give the beans their signature brightness — a mix of citrus, caramel, and floral notes that wake the senses like the first light of day.​​​

Don Javier Torres and his family have cultivated El Despertar for over 25 years. His micro-lot sits at 1,750 m, surrounded by guava trees and hummingbirds. Each cherry is hand-picked at peak ripeness and washed in mountain water. “We don’t grow coffee,” he laughs, “we grow mornings.”
